History
Novafast Holdings has over 20 years of operating experience in most major sectors.
Prior to 1999
Prior to 1999, the company traded under a former name. But in 1999, after an ownership change, Novafast Holdings was incorporated by Charles Figallo. Charles has over 35 years of business operating experience and an extensive knowledge of composite materials and corrosion protection.
1999
Basetec Services founded in 1999. Basetec’s relationships with clients such as BHP, Santos, WDS, Viva Energy, and many more were growing. Basetec Services needed to divide the company into several divisions. These divisions are now referred to as Basetec Services incorporating:
- Basetec Resources & Energy
- Bastec Water & Infrastructure
- Basetec Asset Maintenance
- Basetec Infrastructure & Utilities
2014
Novafast International founded in 2014.
Established in 2014, Novafast International went global, supplying its clients around the world with composite products and materials.
Novafast SE Asia incorporated. Established in 2014, Novafast SE Asia was set up in Malaysia as a sister company, and has since been awarded contracts with Petronas, Ori, and many more.
Nova Technology T/A DSA. Nova Technology, known as DSA, was established in 2014 to provide the market with expert consulting engineers. DSA has been awarded many significant contracts, both in Australia and overseas.
2015
Nova Property founded. Established in 2015, Nova Property was the start of a brand new concept in commercial construction.
In recent years
Paul and David Figallo have become key leaders in the Novafast Holdings operating structure, and have driven change in the business direction and market positioning. Together, they bring a wealth of construction and contract execution knowledge to the company.

Based in Kilkenny, South Australia, Novafast Holdings, through the group of companies, offers engineering, design and construction services for the Water/Wastewater, Energy, Resources, Utilities, and Infrastructure sectors.
